Acorn Close
Acorn Close is Charlee and Daniel’s own home, a typical three bed semi-detached on an estate. They’d had planning permission for a single rear extension and two storey side extension but were busy creating fabulous spaces for clients when Covid-19 hit. Charlee and Daniel found themselves on the client side and leant some valuable lessons that shaped the way they approach projects.
The primary aim was to create a functional family home that allowed everyone a little more personal space as their children continued to grow. With a wealth of experience creating high end commercial spaces and amazing homes for others, they new the importance of setting out a clearly defined brief and a realistic budget.

Long before our incorporation as a limited company in 2015, Jackson Building Solutions operated as a sole trade from delivering numerous residential construction projects in Bicester and the surrounding areas.
We approach every custom home extension as if we are working in our own property. You’ll not only find our team professional and organised but also polite, punctual and tidy. It’s the little things that let assure our customers we are a trustworthy, reputable builders.
The custom home extensions we undertake vary but are typically single story incorporating a ground floor remodel, wrap around (L shaped extensions across a back and side) where at least one elevation is two story.
Our team will not only build the structure of your extension, our skilled craftsmen will also complete the interior fit out of your extension e.g. kitchen fitting, bathroom installation, floor laying and decoration. We also undertake hard landscaping so you can have a beautiful new patio leading off your extension.
Absolutely, we’ll ensure that your extension meets the latest Building Regulations, to be compliant we’ll install insulation in the walls, roof and floor, double or triple glazing in windows and doors, water efficient appliances, LED lighting and we’ll use sustainable building materials such as FSC approved timber.
If applicable, the team will also discuss renewable technology with you such as air source heat pumps, solar panels and rain water harvesting.
