The Windmill, whilst picturesque lacked modern living amenities. The client desired a unique residential space that would preserve its integrity whilst incorporating the comforts of modern life.

We are incredibly proud of this project as it has given the building a new purpose while preserving the historical essence of the windmill. By harvesting all the stone for the extension on-site, we ensured that it matches the existing structure beautifully.

Yes, we are. We are members of the Federation of Master Builders, meaning we’ve been through an external financial audit and our work on site has been independently inspected so you can be confident that we are competent contractors. We are hold employers and public liability insurance cover at £10million, contractors all risk and professional indemnity insurance.

Safety is a top priority for us and we work with KellSafe Ltd to make sure that we are fully compliant with the latest health and safety legislation. Our team undergo regular safety training to ensure a safe working environment and we hold an up-to-date record of our subcontractors training and accreditations. We will plan our works prior to our start on site, identifying high risk works and ensuring we have effective control measures on site to control or mitigate these risks. We do not put ourselves, or our customers at risk by trying to cut corners.

Our subcontractors are all specialists in their field, they hold the relevant qualifications, have their own insurance and have passed our internal vetting process. We never subcontract project or site management, there will always be a Jackson Building Solutions employee overseeing each of our projects.
